Jane SullivanJane Sullivan
Jane has been in the Medical Profession for the past thirty years. Her journey started at a local community hospital as a Respiratory Therapist receiving her degree from California College of Allied Health and Sciences. Frustrated by the modern medical model Jane was driven to change her life's direction by pursuing a career in holistic medicine. She earned a degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Clayton College of Natural Health in Birmingham, Alabama With her husband and two daughters support in 1993 her journey began, gaining National Certification in Massage Therapy. Jane was instrumental in introducing massage therapy to her community hospital. The hospital offered massage benefits for the first time to their employees and soon was promoted to the patients for stress reduction. In 1994, she joined Dr’s Bob and Cecile Locke MD. at Associated Healing Arts, a Holistic Medical Clinic in Noblesville, Indiana.

In 1996, Jane's business "The Comfort Zone" was born with the focus on teaching her clients to take responsibility for their own health. She has used massage therapy, Ashiatsu and Thai massage to introduce her clients to the benefits of exercise and stretching. In 1998, Jane’s journey was seriously challenged. A motor vehicle accident severely compromised her health and mobility with the development of bilateral frozen shoulders. After seeking help from several medical professionals in western medicine she was told that she would have to "quit her practice and take narcotics." She was ready to look for alternatives other than pharmaceuticals. Egoscue proved to be the answer; with just fifteen minutes of ecises, she could lift her arms from her side for the first time in 10 months. With a new found hope and drive she jumped right in and was one of the first students to be certified through the Egoscue University.

Jane believes that the human body is capable to heal itself with the right attitude, stimulus, and the removal of fear and limitations. Her unique blend of bodywork and postural alignment awareness has facilitated hundreds of clients towards living an independent pain free lifestyle. Her goal is to spread the knowledge of the Egoscue Method to as many people in the Midwest as she can reach in her lifetime.
